Choose from strain gage based transducers in several
different categories of product including Fatigue Force, General Purpose
Force, Torque, Load Cells and Multi-axis force sensors.
Rotating
Torque
MRC distributes a complete line of slip ring, transfomer coupled, and
telemetry coupled, rotating torque sensors for industrial applications.
Most feature a rotary transformer coupled torque sensor and requires AC
strain gage signal conditioning such as SensorData’s i200. The optional
angle encoder provides precise feedback of shaft position and rotational
speed. MRC also has products designed for in-line testing of small motors,
pumps, compressors, turbines, fans, and other fractional horsepower rated
devices. Ohter rotary transformer coupled torque sensors are designed
for the measurement of viscosity and for in-line testing of motors, engines,
transmissions, propellers, pumps, drivelines, and similar rotating devices.
Reaction
Torque
Reaction Torque Sensors offer an ideal solution in those applications
where rotation is not a factor, or where the measurement of the resulting
reaction to rotation can be made. Unaffected by speed, reaction torque
measurements are maintenance free, and eliminate the error that can be
caused by inertial errors where dynamic plotted data is required. Reaction
torque sensors are designed to support the housing of motors, generators,
pumps, and similar devices and accurately measure the non-rotating reaction
torque values where the rotating member of the device under test is passed
through the center of the sensor.
MRC also distributes SensorData’s
T150 Series of fatigue rated flange coupled torque sensors is designed
for use during life testing and “test-to-failure” of drive-line
components and where there is a small degree of angular rotation or reciprocating
motion involved.
Force
Sensing
Either fatigue rated or general purpose, MRC offers a wide range of Load
Cells and Force Sensors. From 250 pounds to 2 million pounds, single axis
or multiple axis, a specific load cell or force sensor can be selected
to accommodate your measurement needs.
Metrology Resource Co. distributes high
quality sensors from SensorData Technologies.
