laser sensors represent a portion of the technology that Metrology Resource
Co. implements with its customers. MRC also furnishes rotary torque sensors,
LVDT's (Linear Variable Differential Transformers), precision profilers
and specialized fixtures for curved parts. Here is the sensor product lineup:
MRL2-
Distance laser sensors
The MRL2 is a long-distance laser measurement sensor from Metrology Resource
Co. This non-contact measurement sensor reaches distances to 65 m on metal
targets and up to 500 m to reflective targets

Surface
profilers- using optical and contact methods
MRC represents Breitmeier
Messtechnik GmbH for their entire product range that includes tactile
and optical systems for measurement of surface micro structures, surface
roughness measurement systems, 3D surface profile measurement systems
and customized instruments for engineering, automotive, electronic and
semiconductor, paper and optical industry as well as for R & D.
Applications: 3D-image

structures
LVDT-
linear variable differential transformers
Peter Hirt GmbH manufactures the finest Swiss-made transducers and MRC
makes them available in North America. An LVDT is a type of electromechanical
transducer that converts single-axis motion of an object (to which it
is coupled) into a corresponding electrical signal.

MATRIX™-
form clamping systems of complex
shapes
The basic elements of these support / holding systems are the pin modules,
which adapt to their respective work piece according to the MATRIX Principle.
For sensitive work pieces, the pins can be delivered with plastic or brass
caps. This modular system allows itself to optimally adapt to the work
piece and to the necessary conditions of the process.
Applications: Support
/ holding systems | Fixture systems | Clamping
