MRL2 rangefinder Applications
|
The MRL2-H model is identical to the MRL2 sensors except, it has an extended temperature range down to -40°C.
The MRL2 device is a time-of-flight measurement device that compares the outgoing and returning wave signals to determine the distance to a target. These frequency waves are timed to an internal clock to measure the time it takes for the laser light to go out and return to the sensor. This time-of-flight is often calibrated based on ambient lighting conditions and temperature.
